My main inspirations for this scene were games such as Dead space and Alien: Isolation. Software used: Unreal engine 4, Adobe Photoshop, Quixel suite, Autodesk Maya.
Sci-Fi Corridor
The main thing I did to make the level feel alive was to make sure that no matter where you looked, there was some sort of movement. This involved smoke/dust particles, flashing lights, ventilation fans and slamming doors.

I wanted the lighting in the environment to give it an eerie, abandoned feeling. Because of the dark lighting this gave a nice contrast between the unlit areas and the lit ones.
